So here I am, sitting here in my office with my resaka, it is friday, I survived the boda boda trip this time as well, still waiting for those documents that can give me something to do. Trying hard to understand the ways of these ugandans that I work with. They have stopped trying to convince me to attend church at least...I don't understand why one don't inform each other about changes of meeting times, why everyone is quiet when the boss is around and cheerful and laughing when he sits in the office next to us...I don't understand what time they start work or how one person can spend one afternoon trying to copy episodes of 24 to his computer but says he is too busy to send me the photos for the brochure we were supposed to have finished one month ago....can anyone please give me the key to understand this east african way of work??
